Would you like to feel confident and qualified to support parents of babies with varying physical, medical and neurological needs through baby massage and/or yoga? Would you like to ensure your classes are truly inclusive and that parents feel safe and held in their journey of parenting a baby with additional needs with you through this ancient practice?
This specialist and certificated online CPD training will broaden the knowledge and practice of qualified Baby Massage and Baby Yoga teachers when supporting babies with varying physical, neurological, sensory and/or medical needs.

Research shows that parents with a baby with additional needs may be at higher risk of mental health difficulties such as anxiety and depression, yet baby massage and baby yoga are powerful ways in which to support parental mental health, support parent-infant bonding whist also supporting infant mental health.

This training is for those Baby Massage and Baby Yoga teachers who feel called to do more for these families by providing baby classes and 1-1 sessions for babies with SEND, or needs that require more individualised support. This is for Baby Massage and Baby Yoga teachers who want to broaden their understanding and confidence in the practical skills to support these babies and their families whilst honouring the roots and the benefits of these ancient practices.

This training has been created by an experienced Paediatric Occupational Therapist and previous Baby Massage and Baby Yoga Lecturer. It focuses on the considerations for and adaptation of baby massage and baby yoga for babies with the following conditions:

By undertaking this training you will upskill your practice, deepen your knowledge and learn how to confidently adapt and provide Baby Massage and Baby Yoga for babies with sensory and neurodevelopmental needs, acute and long term conditions and disabilities. Carly is a registered Health professional who is bringing this training to those with Baby Massage and/or Baby Yoga qualifications, regardless of training provider, in order to create more safe places for babies with additional needs and their caregivers.

* Please NB: This is not a neonatal baby massage training, instead considers babies who were born prematurely, are discharged home and a corrected age of 6-8 weeks.

Upon enrolment, you will receive instant access to both Part One and Part Two of the training, the equivalent of TWO days of training, along with the downloadable PDF manual. This allows you to study at your own pace, with no time limit to complete the course.

Requirements and Investment​

Students must have their own professional indemnity and public liability insurances in place, as well as a Baby Massage and/or Baby Yoga qualification.
To purchase this pre-recorded training the investment is £399. There are options to use Buy Now Pay Later Options at checkout (subject to their T's and C's).
All those who enrol will receive the recording and PDF handout to keep and refer back to without time limit. They will also have the opportunity to join the Carly Budd Developmental Play Academy student forum for ongoing support and connection.
